WAMEED knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting WAMEED, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

What Types of Information Does WAMEED Collect?

Other than the data you volunteer, (e.g.: email address), WAMEED does not collect any personally identifiable data. Below is a brief description of the data that we do gather:

  • Web Server Logs: Or web servers gather certain technical data about what pages are visited and when. IP Address data are also gathered, while not considered personally identifiable, it does allow us to perform diagnostic reports in situations of suspected abuse. We also use these logs for administrative purposes, reporting, and diagnostic testing. (Also known as Click-Stream Data)
  • Cookies: We use "cookies" (small files placed on your hard drive) on certain of our pages to help analyze our web page flow; customize our services, content and advertising; measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. A few important things you should know about cookies are that:
    • We offer certain features that are available only through the use of cookies.
    • We use cookies to help identify you and maintain your signed-in status.
    • Most cookies are "session cookies", meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session.

  • Email Address: This data is only collected if you personally volunteer it by completing a newsletter subscription form or by contacting us through our contact form.
    • Newsletter Subscription: by completing the subscription process and confirming your subscription (by clicking on the link in the confirmation email), you agree to receive regular mailings from WAMEED that include news, sales information, and events. If you decide that you would like to cancel please email us at the above address, or follow the instructions included in every mailing from us.
    • Contact Form: Email addresses gathered through this form are not used for marketing purposes (unless you have previously or subsequently subscribe using the method described in the previous section 'Newsletter Subscription'). All contact will be focused on the issue raised in the initial email from you.

How Can I Change my information?

Should you desire to review any of the information that WAMEED has on file for you (including email address, list subscription, or previous email correspondence), please contact us at the above email address.

Does WAMEED share my information with other parties?

WAMEED takes privacy very seriously. As a result we do not share your information with anyone, with the following exceptions:

  • When we are required to by law enforcement
  • Parent entities: Either through acquisition, or change of ownership

WAMEED displays products and information from a variety of third party sources. This privacy policy governs the collection and use of your information for WAMEED only.
